Orders, Charts, and Execution
A spot order expresses the intended purchase or sale, while charting supplies market context for that instruction. Placing an order does not, by itself, establish that a trade has completed.
BeFi Labs describes fast execution, but its March 1, 2024 Terms and Conditions do not guarantee the elimination of slow transactions.
Wallet Access and Available Markets
Wallet integration concerns access to the service; asset availability concerns the tokens that the service makes available for trading. A connected wallet alone does not establish that a particular BRC20 market is available. The terms allow specific features and asset availability to change.
Trading Fees and Network Charges
An order with a zero trading charge can still carry a separate cost for applicable blockchain activity.
Hypothetical Spot Order Fee Total
In this hypothetical BRC20 buy order, the trading charge is valued at USD 0 and the estimated network charge at USD 1.72. Assume that no other fee applies in this example. The estimated fee total is
0 + 1.72 = 1.72
, or USD 1.72. A changed network estimate or an additional applicable charge changes the total; actual fees can differ from estimates.
Eligibility for Spot Trading
BeFi Labs ' March 1, 2024 Terms and Conditions require legal age, contractual capacity, and compliance with sanctions rules. Their regional provisions cover citizenship, residence, location, incorporation, and registered offices. They list Canada, North Korea, Pakistan, Syria, Iran, the Russian Federation, and Belarus as restricted jurisdictions.
The United Kingdom restriction has an exception for Investment Professionals under Article 19(5) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005. The United States restriction specifically concerns perpetual-contract trading; the other eligibility conditions continue to govern spot trading. Under those terms, VPN use requires consent to a browser location check when prompted; attempts to circumvent the restrictions remain prohibited.
